Thousands of people take part in Ride+Stride every year to raise funds to support their local churches and county historic churches trusts. In our area the GHCT raised over £45,000 in 2023 for individual churches and for their grants programme. You can take part in this fun event by sponsoring the members of the Southrop Parochial Church Council who are taking part. through a donation on this website. 50% of the total funds raised are remitted back to St Peter's Church Southrop to help us progress our own community projects. For 2024 this is to remove our church bells for repair and refurbishment. The bells were originally cast in 1774 by Thomas Rudall, a famous Gloucester bell-founder.
