Story

Please support St. Mary's Half Marathon team to help to end homelessness in Ealing!

Ealing has the 4th highest level of rough sleepers across London, with 563 people reported to be sleeping rough on Ealing’s streets last year.

We’ll be running the Ealing Half Marathon on 29 September for Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter (Registered Charity Number 1152768) who are tackling this huge issue in Ealing. The Shelter is the only organisation in Ealing that provides emergency night shelter over the five winter months. A dedicated support worker will work with individual guests to find solutions that return their dignity and a sense of belonging, including permanent accommodation and access to employability support.

In a "first" in 2023, ECWNS ran Ealing’s only Christmas night shelter, for 10 nights through the festive season. With your help, the Shelter will be able to run a Christmas Night Shelter again, this year.

Thank you so much for your support! Love from Nick, Susy, Dan, Daniel, Lilian, Lionel, Nadia, Rob and Alison
