£30
raised of £1,000 target
We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

I’m nothing if not ambitious, so I’ve chosen three charities to support in my Civic Year.

These are Papyrus UK, supporting young peoples’ mental health and suicide prevention; Staffordshire Blood Bikes, and South Staffordshire First Responders, each providing vital emergency assistance.

The work Papyrus do to support mental health is vital, and it means so much to me as I work with some amazing young people at the University of Wolverhampton – some of whom have had or continue to have terrible personal experiences or pressures, and I want to support them and their experiences.

For Staffordshire Blood Bikes and South Staffordshire First Responders, these fulfil a vital voluntary role somewhere very special to me – supporting the people of South Staffordshire, with the First responders being based at Wombourne Fire Station at the heart of the community I serve.

I hope you will be able to support me in raising money for these genuinely wonderful charities this year.
