On July 20, 2024, teams of walkers will be undertaking an eighteen mile walk around Bristol's sporting arenas raising money for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. This event is in support of former footballer Marcus Stewart, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2022.
The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation has three main aims
- Raising awareness of MND
- Supporting families impacted by the disease
- Funding research into a cure
