Hello chaps

You're favourite adventurers are at it again, this time in Sri Lanka doing the Rickshaw run in which we navigate through rivers, jungles, mountains, and women, all in a tuktuk.

We start just north of Negombo and finish 7 days later along the south coast at Rekawa Lagoon, about 800km away. Preemptively, we're going to make a second JustGiving page for Matthew's peg leg after the inevitable encounter with a 2 tonne crocodile.

We're raising money for Cool Earth along the way which aims to protect rainforests across the world and fight the climate crisis. As said by the founder of the group we're going with:-

"We must save every rainforest in the world so future generations have somewhere to get stuck. Not because we’re tree hugging sandal weavers, but because the world would be shit without them. It’s not just about the carbon, the point is rainforests are indescribably excellent.

We need rainforests, not just to create oxygen but to get lost in. Without rainforests, we’d live in a world with no tigers to run away from. There would be no poisonous tree frogs, no Tarzan, no great apes, no David Livingstone.

**** progress. We want the world to be covered in dark, unknown forests stretching away in an endless medley of sweat, botheration and deadly insects.

So as Adventurists, we shall fix it. We shall save them all"
