I will spend a couple of hours that day (10am- 2pm) playing your requests and raising funds for my charity, the Steve Reid Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting musicians in crisis.

These are still challenging times for many musicians worldwide. As you know, the live music industry was devastated during lockdown, with venues closing down and musicians losing their livelihood.

It may feel like we're back to normal now, but venues are only seeing half the amount of audiences than before. And with the cost of living crisis, many musicians are continuing to struggle.

Recently the Foundation gave support to Mark Mondesir, Airto and Jason Yarde to help them recover from illness.
