Team Cure are taking on the 2025 TCS London Marathon, hoping to raise over £100,000 to fund cutting edge research into potential new treatments that could slow, stop or reverse Parkinson's.

Story

On Sunday the 27th of April, I will be running the London Marathon for the charity, Cure Parkinson's. My dad suffered with this cruel disease for over 2 years which affected him in so many ways imaginable. As a family, to witness my Dad suffer was heart-breaking, but for him to endure this incurable disease was even worse. Unfortunately on 28th January 2023, my Dad took his own life as a result of this. I feel now it is my time to give back and there is no better way to honour my dad and fundraise for a charity that is so close to our hearts. Any donations no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Cure Parkinson's are here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s. Their funding and innovation has redefined the field of Parkinson’s research, enabling the world’s leading researchers to prioritise the next generation of drugs for clinical trial. Together we will conquer Parkinson’s.
