As our 20th Anniversary approaches we are celebrating this milestone by raising money for The Lily Foundation and Chernobyl Children's Lifeline North Wales.

In store on October 12th we will be having a fundraising day with many prizes to be won. We will also be drawing a raffle where prizes have been locally donated such as;£50 voucher for a meal at Four Seasons (Prestatyn), £10 Voucher to spend at Cake and Coffee (Prestatyn), Gin Hamper from Origin, £10 Voucher for Detour, £20 Voucher Paris boutique, Voucher for Coffee and Cake at Glan yr Afon Cafe (Llanfair Talhaiarn) plus many more prizes. Tickets are £2 each, can be purchased in store with payment via this page.

For many years at Specsavers in Prestatyn we have supported Chernobyl Children's Lifeline in North Wales; by providing each group of children, where needed, with glasses. In other years we have completed a sponsored walk & collected valuable items to those in need affected by the war in Ukraine.

Isla's Story

Isla Ruby Harris is the beautiful daughter of a staff member of Specsavers Prestatyn who was only 9 months old when she passed away from mitochondrial disease.

Every day in the UK a child is born who will develop this devastating condition.

Currently there is no treatment or cure and this needs to change. We'd would like to continue to spread awareness alongside Isla's parents and keep their baby girls memory alive to try and find a cure to this disease and raise money to support other families affected by Mitochondrial Disease and fund important research to find a cure.

All donations raised will be split between The Lily Foundation & Chernobyl Children's Lifeline North Wales.
