Thanks for stopping by here. Supporting Our Youth (SOY) was a major support for me when I was new to Canada and still figuring myself out. Having come from a country where being queer was a crime, being forced out and experiencing family alienation, SOY provided a discreet, safe space to ask questions, talk to other newcomers and folk with some shared experience, make new friends and they provided connections and help with housing and employment. It was life saving.

This year a few of us from the early days are helping mark 25 years of their work in Toronto. I would appreciate your support in helping my team reach our fundraising goal. There is no pressure to donate financially, whatever you can is appreciated and consider sharing it with friends who might like to support their important work.
