There is no typical food bank user. People of all ages, from all walks of life, can fall on hard times. Care leavers, young families and pensioners can all need our help, as can those who are employed.

Most of the foodbank's clients are referred by care professionals such as social services, school pastoral teams, children's centres and Citizens' Advice. Your donation will get food to those most in need in our community.

Our team at Sowerby are taking part in the Total Warrior challenge on 1st July 2023 and will be covering a 12km course, with 25 obstacles, including water, mud, fire and ice!
