Thanks to our generous supporters and with Allah's (swt) help we have successfully paid the £6.65 million required to purchase a beautiful Grade II listed building and grounds as the site of Southgate Mosque and Community Centre. Southgate Mosque: A Thriving Community Centre of Excellence for All

Southgate Mosque is not merely a place of worship; it stands as a vibrant and inclusive community centre in North London, promoting UNITY among people of all backgrounds and offering a powerful platform for COLLABORATION and COMMUNITY SERVICE. We take pride in providing essential services to those in need, including our weekly FOOD BANK serving 110 families, and providing a platform through which our community can provide HUMANITARIAN AID. Our Mosque is always busy with its wide range of volunteer-run SOCIAL AND YOUTH CLUBS, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES, and exciting COMMUNITY EVENTS catering to all groups.

We are immensely grateful to have acquired the historic Grade II listed building, Southgate House, which now symbolises diversity and community spirit in the heart of Southgate. Once the residence of the viceroy of India and later a secondary school, it has now become a mosque serving Southgate's growing Muslim population. Through the unwavering efforts of our dedicated community, we completed payment for the building with generous donations and private loans (qard hasana). ALHAMDULILLAH!

OUR VISION for the future includes restoring our HISTORIC BUILDING whilst preserving its original features, and transforming it into a dynamic and multipurpose space for the entire community. Beyond a much-needed place of WORSHIP, we aim to establish a full-time Islamic SCHOOL for our children, educational facilities for adults, a pre-school NURSERY, a COMMUNITY CENTRE offering support and services for people of all age groups and diverse needs, including FAMILY, YOUTH, and the ELDERLY. We envision marriage and parenting programs, funeral services, MULTI-FAITH ACTIVITIES, and a vibrant SOCIAL HUB for Muslims from all walks of life. Furthermore, we plan a tranquil ECO-GARDEN and an expansion of our well-established food bank services.

We have laid all the groundwork for this AMAZING PROJECT through our grassroots volunteer-led efforts and already provide incredible value to our local community, but there is so much more to come.
