In memory of Southfield Farming Food production support
Our aim is to embed the BFC into our community as a place where members can come to shop, eat, meet and learn! In order to evolve we need to invest in the project and our goal is to develop a community cafe space. A Food Hub for the body and mind!

Story

Support our Southfield Farm food production project, which aims to alleviate the suffering of displaced children and women in Nigeria. At the heart of our nation, Southfield Farm is on a mission to make a positive impact on reducing poverty while providing nutritious food to those who need it the most.

Our farm, with the dedicated efforts of a compassionate staff team of 10 and hardworking volunteers, has developed an efficient strategic distribution service that enables us to reach a large number of families and orphanages in dire need of assistance. Every month, we extend a helping hand to displaced and underprivileged single mothers, children, and orphanages, providing them with essential food supplies to ease their poor cost of living.

For just £10 we can ensure that 15 children receive up to 10 items of groceries and household provisions, providing them with the nourishment they need for a healthier and brighter future. With a generous donation of £20+, 6 families, can be reached with nutritious groceries touching the lives of those who struggle every day to put food on the table.

For a remarkable donation of £200 per donor, we can sow the seeds of hundreds of nutritious farm produce, with a maturity period of just 3 months, ready to be harvested and distributed to ensure long-term food security for those in need.

Since January 2022, Southfield Farm has already made a significant impact by redistributing over 10,000 kg of food from our farm households to orphanages and families. However, our work is far from complete, and we need compassionate individuals like you to join hands with us and extend your support.

Your financial contributions will directly go into instant food distribution and the smooth operation of our Southfield Farm food production project. With your help, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless displaced children and women, bringing hope and sustenance to those who have been through so much.

Your generosity will not only fill empty stomachs but also bring smiles and renewed hope to those in need. We believe that by empowering children and families with access to nutritious food, we are creating a better future for the poor communities.

Every contribution, no matter the size, matters and will be gratefully appreciated.

Together, let us sow the seeds of change and cultivate a brighter future for those in need. Thank you for considering our cause and supporting our Southfield Farm food production project.

With heartfelt gratitude.

About the campaign

Our aim is to embed the BFC into our community as a place where members can come to shop, eat, meet and learn! In order to evolve we need to invest in the project and our goal is to develop a community cafe space. A Food Hub for the body and mind!

About the charity

At the BFC we have over 2000 members who use our service to access low cost food that would otherwise be destined for landfill. Members get up to 16 items for £4.50. Since 01/23 we have redistributed over 30000kg of foods to over 4750 households. All revenue goes straight back into the project.
