Story

I'm running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in September in aid of Nottingham University Hospitals Charity. NHC is a charity incredibly close to my heart - it's where my mum had cancer treatment almost five years ago under the care of Professor Chan and the oncology team at the Breast Institute. Thanks to participation in a cutting-edge clinical trial, Mum's treatment was tailored to her cancer diagnosis, meaning she underwent four chemotherapy sessions, rather than the standard eight. I'd love to give back to Professor Chan's fund to support more vital clinical trials in breast cancer so more women can receive the same quality of care that my mum did.
