Modern slavery affects millions worldwide, robbing individuals of their freedom and dignity. This year, we've made a powerful decision to dedicate funds from the London Marathon to The Salvation Army's modern slavery cause.

Story

As a participant in the London Marathon 2025, I am grateful for the opportunity to fundraise for The Salvation Army. Their work in providing unconditional friendship, support, and practical help to those in crisis and need is truly inspiring. With over 800 social service centers and community churches in the UK and Republic of Ireland alone, they are one of the largest providers of social welfare in the world.

However, there is still so much more that needs to be done. The Salvation Army works with children, homeless people, victims of modern slavery, and those dealing with drug and alcohol addiction. These individuals need our help now more than ever.

That's why I'm asking for your support in helping me reach my fundraising goal of £2,000. Your donation will go directly towards supporting The Salvation Army's vital work in our communities. Together, we can make a difference.
