Story
On Sunday 2 June a group of Marion's family and friends are taking part in the Big Fun Walk 2024! We will be walking 8.5 miles to help spread awareness and raise funds for North London Hospice, a place Marion knew very well, where she received the best possible end of life care. We, her family and friends, can never thank the staff and volunteers enough for the love and care they gave our beloved Maz.
Every pound we raise will allow the hospice's care teams to provide the best quality palliative and end of life care and support for patients and families living with a life limiting illness.
This annual event is so important because all the services the hospice offers are provided completely free. With only 40% of funding coming from the NHS, they rely on donations from the community to raise over £15.9 million for this year alone.
The Big Fun Walk has hundreds of participants who last year raised £180,000. This year we aim to smash that sum, with your support. We will walk the 8.5 miles from North Finchley to the heart of Westminster guided by volunteer marshalls along the route.
We would be so grateful for donations of any amount.
Thank you for your support.
