#TeamHRUK are raising funds by running the London Marathon 2024 to support Heart Research UK in their work funding pioneering research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart diseases.

Story

In April I will be running the London marathon for Heart Research alongside my brother Charles, and friend, Molly, in memory of my dad, Ollie, who died suddenly last January from complications related to cardiomyopathy. Those of you who knew him know what an amazing man he was; funny, kind, intelligent and a massively active person. I don’t have the words to describe how hard it has been to lose him or how difficult life will be without him.

Heart Research UK invests in life-saving medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease, as well as supporting ground-breaking training and education. All money raised will go towards extending and saving more lives.

As many of you know, running a marathon is not something that comes easily to me so anything you can donate would be amazing and keep me going!

Please donate any spare pounds or pennies, it would be so greatly appreciated by myself and everyone at HRUK.
