Fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy UK
Myself and a team of 9 close family and friends are gearing up for the “Zipslide the Clyde” challenge on August 30, 2024, all to support the vital cause of Muscular Dystrophy UK. Diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 13, I am dedicated to raising funds to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the 111,000 individuals coping with muscle-wasting conditions.
Muscular dystrophy, an unrelenting muscle-wasting disease, currently lacks a cure and progressively worsens over time. By contributing to this fundraiser, you are directly supporting Muscular Dystrophy UK’s efforts to provide crucial aid, conduct research, and offer hope to those affected by this rare condition.
Consider the daily challenges faced by individuals with muscular dystrophy, from difficulties with walking to the potential reliance on wheelchairs as the condition advances. Your generous donation not only fuels research for a cure but also provides essential support for those navigating the ongoing obstacles of living with muscular dystrophy.
Your donation will play a pivotal role in making a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by muscular dystrophy.
