On the 18th of May I will be joining my fellow colleagues plus other supporters of Thornberry Animal Sanctuary in a strenuous hike up the Miners' Track to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).

I recently started working on the kennel team back in November and see first hand how donations help with the daily care of all the animals at the Sanctuary and ensuring they their welfare and wellbeing is at the forefront of all the work we do.

Although I enjoy going for walks each weekend, I have never taken on the challenge of walking to Snowdon's summit. It is going to be partially testing as we are heading up the zigzag route of The Miners' Track which is known for its very steep ascent. Furthermore, we're planning on reaching the summit for sunset.

If you are able to spare any spare cash then please donate so the charity can continue to rehome neglected and vulnerable pets and provide them with the best care possible whist with us at the Sanctuary.
