The Giles' Trust was set up in 2015 by England cricketer Ashley Giles and his wife, Stine, to raise money to fund vital brain tumour research at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Make a donation and help to change lives today.

Story

On the 7th April 2024 I will be putting myself through the paces and running the Paris Marathon to raise money for The Giles' Trust, Brain Tumour Research Fund.

The money raised will help The Giles' Trust do more for brain tumour patients by funding world-leading research, cutting-edge equipment and 'added extras' that make a patient's time in hospital easier.

Brain Tumour Research is particularly important to me as sadly my Great Aunt died of a brain tumour when she was in her early 60s. Additionally two close family friends suffered with brain tumours and so it is a cause that is close to my heart.

I have started my 16 week training plan and will update you with my training progress. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference to help fund brain tumour research.

Thank you for your support!
