Again this year I’m taking part in the Royston Rough Sleepers’ fundraising effort for the Church Urban Fund’s work with the homeless and ex homeless. Since 2017 a group has slept out for a night in Barley churchyard, and this year some of us (not me) are extending this to two nights, and the day as well. The problems that led to homelessness, and the misery and waste that follow, are as bad as they were, and without money the consistent help that’s needed can’t be given.
