Hi, I'm Warren Mitchell, a dedicated SSgt Artificer in the REME, proudly serving since 2007. My journey with the Army has been marked by a deep appreciation for its physical challenges. Although I've always identified as a Christian, it was during basic training that I began consistently practicing my faith.

Upon arriving at my first posting in Gutersloh, Germany, I was introduced to SASRA and I've been participating in camp bible studys ever since. With immense honour, I've committed to the Bath 'Two Tunnels' marathon on August 18th, 2024, aiming to not only raise awareness but also gather donations for SASRA.

SASRA is a Christian organisation that serves the spiritual welfare of the British Armed Forces. Working alongside military chaplains and welfare teams, SASRA Scripture Readers (who are all military veterans) support military personnel, bringing with them the hope of Christ into the military community.

My marathon training kicks off on April 29th, and I'll be closely tracking my progress through my Strava account, providing regular updates throughout the 16-week Garmin-led training program. Together, let's make a positive impact through this meaningful endeavor.
