Story
Hey I’m Sofia, and I am reaching out to you with a heart full of passion and purpose. In April 2024, I'll be lacing up my running shoes and taking on the incredible challenge of the London Marathon. Here's the twist – I've convinced my Dad, Nigel, to dust off his old running shoes from the cupboard and join me in this adventure.
But it's not just about the run; it's about making a real impact. We have decided to dedicate our run to raise funds for the MS Society. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance.
This is a cause that is personal to our family, especially through Nigels brother and my Uncle, who has been living with multiple sclerosis. His journey, marked by incredible strength and resilience, has fuelled our commitment to make a difference for those facing the challenges of MS. The MS Society works tirelessly to support individuals dealing with MS, providing essential resources, funding for research, and building a strong community.
Whether it's a small donation or a generous contribution, your kindness will help create a brighter future for those navigating the complexities of MS. We invite you to be a part of this journey with us, where every step brings us closer to a world where MS is no longer a barrier to a life full of possibilities. Thank you so much for your support, we will see you at the finish line.
With gratitude,
Sofia and Nigel Barton
