Snow's and Deimantas' fundraiser for Light Project Peterborough

Fundraising for Light Project Peterborough
£235
raised of £500 target
Taking place on Friday 14th March 2025, we are inviting the city to spend a night experiencing what those who sleep rough endure every night. Money raised will be split between Light Project Peterborough and the Peterborough United Foundation.

Story

Deimantas and I are taking part in the Peterborough's Big Sleep Out 2025, because we care about others and we want to bring your attention to the fact, that the meaningful CHANGES ARE POSSIBLE!

I met Deimantas first time more than a year ago, when he was sleeping rough and I was volunteering for PCC, helping homeless and other vulberable people with translations. Later I became a Housing & Support Officer and Deimantas was one of the clients I was supporting within my job role, together with Aspire and the brilliant PCC Rough Sleeper Outreach Team that make every effort to help such people in Peterborough.

Today Deimantas is a different person: he stopped drinking, stopped smoking cigarettes, started learning English, found a job, moved into the privately rented accommodation and is volunteering with me for a welfare of the Lithuanians in Peterborough! So we kind of swapped around and now we are friends!🤩

We are asking you to help the Light Project Peterborough, so they can help other vulnerable people, they look after, to make those important steps forward!❤️

Please, donate the amount you can!🙏
