Your support is vital in helping Staffordshire Network for Mental Health continue providing vital services and promoting mental wellbeing across Staffordshire.
BREAK THE CYCLE - BREAK THE SILENCE!
Our small, but perfectly formed team, dedicated to supporting communities in Staffordshire are taking part in a sponsor cycle marathon on an exercise bike at Asda in Cannock on Saturday 22nd June from 10am - 2pm.
We will cycle 26.2 miles continuously throughout the day to raise money to support people with their mental health in the community.
We provide mental health support for people in Staffordshire through 4 of our programs:
Our flagship program, the Toolbox is a self-empowering tool designed to increase your awareness of emotional wellbeing. Through a 60-minute appointment with a trained SNfMH worker, you'll identify your support network, explore resources, and develop strategies to manage different stages of mental health – from feeling well to experiencing distress any everything in between.
Our Reach out program deliver emotional wellbeing workshops and provide a safe and supportive environment to learn practical skills for managing mental health. We cover a range of topics such as stress management, communication skills, and building resilience.
Our Military mindset program is specifically designed for veterans, service personnel, and their families. It focuses on developing mental wellbeing strategies unique to the military experience. Our links with partner organisations also allows us to offer our Thrive programme, specifically for those who have suffered from PTSD.
Our Mental Health Ambassador programme where we offer volunteers the chance to train up to deliver our services to the community and put through accredited training courses and get involved with events. So far, we have helped 10 people into paid employment since the start of the programme.
Every penny counts towards creating a more positive future for mental health in Staffordshire.
