Story
A Charity Motorcycle Ride for the Lighthouse Construction Charity
This spring, five civils construction colleagues will be taking on a challenge that is ambitious, slightly mad, and completely worthwhile: Riding the full length and breadth of the British Isles — from John O’Groats to Land’s End — on small, low powered motorcycles, completing the journey in just five days. That’s a target of 200 miles a day in all weathers and conditions!
What began as a 60th birthday bucket list idea for one member of the team, has grown into a meaningful way to raise awareness and vital funds for the Lighthouse Construction Charity.
This charity provides crucial emotional, physical and financial support to construction workers and their families during times of need. The construction industry can be tough, and many colleagues face unseen pressures. Lighthouse is often the only source of help available, and every donation directly supports their work.
We are covering all our own costs for the trip.
Every penny donated goes straight to the charity.
If you’re able to support us, no matter the amount, it will make a real difference to those in our industry who need a helping hand.
