Update 12 October
Thanks to everyone who have donated. With gift aid, we have so far raised over £2400 on Saturday on our walk for Alzheimer’s at Tatton Park , near Knutsford. 20 members of the Slater, Doyle & Duncalf families walked the reduced 5km course with hundreds of others all in our bright turquoise T-shirts. Fortunately the weather stayed kind to us and gave us the opportunity to view the fantastic setting including the local deer. If anyone wishes to make a post walk donation, however small, it would be really appreciated
Thanks again for your support
Having lost loved ones to some form of Alzheimer's over the past few years, over 20 of the Slater, Doyle & Duncalf families along with their partners and friends, have decided to join the 2024 Memory Walk of 6.5km at Tatton Park on the 12 October. Any small donation would be appreciated and help raise funds to help fight this disease
Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.
Once you donate, JustGiving sends your money directly to Alzheimer's Society you don't need to do anything and it's the most efficient way to fundraise.
Thank you
