We're reaching out with something important to us.

As many of you know, we work at Exiger, where we’re all about helping companies and governments manage risk and do the right thing. But this time, we're stepping up for something even bigger—something that goes beyond our daily work. We've decided to take on a challenge that’s a bit out of our comfort zone: hiking through the Drakensberg Mountains to raise money for Hope for Justice, an amazing organization fighting to end modern slavery.

This is our first time doing something like this, and we're both nervous and excited - still don't have all the self-ported gear!

Human trafficking is one of the most heartbreaking issues out there. It’s hard to believe, but right now, nearly 50 million people are trapped in some form of modern slavery around the world—whether it’s forced labor, sexual exploitation, or even worse.

Hope for Justice was founded just over 14 years ago to take on this horrific problem. When Hope for Justice was formed, our model was put together to strategically disturb the enterprise of human trafficking, which generates $150 billion annually in illicit profits.

Their mission is simple but powerful: to make sure EVERY person has the chance to live free from slavery. They work on the front lines, rescuing victims, helping them rebuild their lives, and fighting to make sure this doesn’t keep happening.

Here’s how they’re doing it:

Preventing Exploitation: They educate and empower communities to protect themselves from traffickers.

Rescuing Victims: Their teams work with police to find and free people trapped in slavery, and they’re experts at gaining the trust of victims so they can help.

Restoring Lives: Hope for Justice provides top-notch care and legal support to survivors, giving them the best chance to heal and move forward.

Reforming Society: They train people like police officers and healthcare workers to spot the signs of slavery and work with governments and businesses to drive change.

We truly believe that together, we can be the generation that ends human trafficking. But to make that happen, we need your help.
