Story
Last year, I fell pregnant with my first baby and unfortunately lost little Pip at 8 weeks into my pregnancy. A year on, I have met so many lovely inspirational people who have had losses too and cannot thank Jo enough for her support during this difficult time.
I want to raise some money for a local charity, Philip's Footprints who was formed in 2008 with a mission to reduce the rate of stillbirths, premature births and complications at birth. Since then, they have given over 400 memory boxes to bereaved families. No family should have to leave Maternity with a memory box instead of their baby, so they are investing in every pregnancy, in professional antenatal training and equipment, and information for pregnant women.
On October 13th 2023 I am taking part in a personal challenge - a head shave - to raise £1,000 for Philip's Footprints. I'm doing this because I believe that every baby deserves the best start in life and that no family should have to go through this.
Your support will help us continue their mission of improving outcomes for Jersey babies.
Please note: 50% of funds will be going to Philip's Footprints and some money will be raised for Rayner Ward. The other 50% will be going to the Miscarriage Association.
Thank you for your generosity.
