I am Sindhu, from Bengaluru, India living in Berlin, Germany. Child.org helps make pregnancies and births safer for mums and their babies in Kenya by providing very basic interventions to keep them out of danger. Interventions like educating fathers to not beat their wives when pregnant. I'm taking on an epic five-day, 500km cycle ride across Kenya to raise funds for Child.org. I have osteo-arthritis in my left ankle and was barely able to walk in 2022 after a surgery.
