At Simplyhealth we are proud to put purpose at the heart of everything we do.

Devastating earthquakes have hit Turkey and Syria, killing over 36,000 people, injuring many more and reducing buildings to rubble. People need urgent aid to survive and we can confirm our response.

Together, we're hoping to raise funds and donate up to £150,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal by matching donations made by our customers, colleagues, corporate clients, professionals, partners, friends and family up to £75,000.

DEC charities and their local partners are in Turkey and Syria. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people with food, water, shelter, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.

Every pound donated by the UK public will be matched by the UK Government up to £5 million.

- £30 could provide blankets for six people to keep them warm in freezing temperatures

- £50 could provide emergency food for two families for 10 days

- £100 could provide emergency shelter for four families
