Story
The last couple of weeks have been a call to action! An appreciation of the life that we have, and an acknowledgment that we all need to keep working together to create the world we want to live in. Today I found out that one of our Unleashed Women had to withdraw from our fundraising event on Sunday September 24th and they put out a call for someone to take that spot to abseil 80M down the ArcelorMittal Orbit in London to raise money for the Hunger Project. Whilst I've done some crazy things in the past it's been a while since I've willingly terrified myself but this is a for a great cause! https://www.wireandsky.co.uk/adventure/abseil-the-arcelormittal-orbit/
The Hunger project is a charity which has bold ambitions, empowering women and youth to step forward as community leaders to ensure every person has the opportunity to lead a healthy, productive, resilient and self-reliant life in harmony with nature, by enabling an environment of equity, peace and stewardship of the natural environment - incredibly important goals to ensure the ongoing habitability of our planet!
The collective aim of our community is that by 2027, we will be investing £250,000 a year in supporting women in our programme countries, via a network of engaged, purpose-driven UK-based Unleashed Women.
By supporting us with our fundraising efforts, you are investing in communities and helping them realise their own future, free from hunger and poverty. Together, we make change happen.

£25 could support a volunteer leader in South Asia to attend a leadership development training event. During these training events, volunteer leaders called Animators learn how to strengthen civil society, laying the groundwork for communities to thrive and coordinating efforts on the ground.
£50 could educate 10 mothers so that they can feed their babies and prevent malnutrition.
£100 could provide business and leadership training for a female entrepreneur living in a rural village in Malawi, allowing her to start an income generating social enterprise.
£300 could provide training and coaching for an elected female representative in India, allowing her to create more effective change in the communities which she serves.
Please help me raise some funds for this awesome cause! Thank-you
