About the charity

Like physical health, mental health is something we all have, and we need to look after it. After all, there is no health without mental health. For almost 50 years the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand has been the leading charity promoting good mental health and wellbeing and the rights of those experiencing mental health challenges. We uplift. And we fight. We campaign hard so anyone experiencing mental distress gets respect and support. We strive to reach everyone in Aotearoa and have a measurable impact on their mental health and wellbeing.
