Story
Hi everyone,
Some would say inspiringly, others (including my wife) would say foolishly, I am undertaking the challenge of climbing Mont Blanc, Western Europe's highest peak, in July. Over the course of 3 days, two friends will be joining me in climbing the nearly 5km of elevation of the Mont Blanc Massif. This is preceded by 3 days climbing Italy's highest peak as acclimatisation.
Most importantly I am doing so in support of Marie Curie's vital hospice care efforts. I would be very grateful if you could support me in raising vital funds for this amazing charity who do so much to provide end of life care and support for individuals and their families. My target of £4,808 is the height of Mont Blanc: 4,808 metres.
I would be grateful if you would be a part of this event by donating as generously as you are able.
This is probably the hardest thing I've ever done and will ever do. I have been training since before the start of this year, building up my endurance levels and I continue to work on my mental strength for the challenge. Knowing that I have your support and knowing that I am raising funds for such a worthy cause will provide more strength than you realise.
Wish us luck, please,
Simon
