Story
Join Us in the Leap Year Challenge for St Michael's Hospice!
This February, we're taking the leap for St Michael's Hospice, and we need your help to become true Leap Year heroes! St Michael's is a beacon of hope, offering indispensable care and support to families across North Hampshire. But with daily operational costs soaring to £14,000 and minimal statutory funding, the challenge is real.
That's why we're stepping up – or should we say, shaving down? In solidarity with those undergoing treatment and to raise vital funds, we're daring to bare it all by shaving our heads. It's bold, it's brave, and it's all for a cause close to our hearts.
Why St Michael's? Because their work is life-changing. From easing pain with medication to providing comfort in their In-patient Unit, and invaluable support for grieving families, they're there when it matters most. Yet, they need more than just words of support; they need heroes like you.
This Leap Year, with an extra day to make a difference, we're aiming to cover at least one day's worth of Hospice care costs. Every penny you donate through our JustGiving page brings us closer to that £14,000 target, ensuring St Michael's can continue their vital work.
Be part of our journey:
- Donate directly to our JustGiving page and watch as we go from full heads of hair to smooth champions for charity.
- Spread the word by sharing our challenge with friends and family.
- Inspired to do more? Set up your own fundraising challenge in honor of St Michael's and share it far and wide.
Every gesture of support, big or small, makes a monumental difference. Whether it's forgoing your favorite coffee or rallying colleagues for a fundraising event, every contribution counts.
We're not just asking for donations; we're inviting you to join a community committed to compassion and care. Let's make this extra day in February count. Together, we can ensure that St Michael's Hospice continues to be a haven of hope and healing.
Thank you for your generosity, your spirit, and your willingness to be part of something extraordinary. Let's make this Leap Year truly remarkable for St Michael's Hospice.
Simon - Proud to be bald, bolder (balder) in our cause.
