We provide therapeutic arts workshops to support vulnerable groups mental health

Story

Hi Everyone

In 2022 one of my fellow Trustees and I walked a marathon along the Thames, spread across two days, for Talitha Arts.

This year with a larger group we are planning to walk 30km in one day along the Thames, on March 23rd starting at Hampton Court Palace and walking back into London. It's not a Herculean effort. It's not like climbing Everest or cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats. But it is really all about Talitha Arts - doing amazing work to help victims of trauma and abuse through the therapeutic power of the creative arts. We had an astonishing year last year, delivering 62 workshops and 556 client engagements, all with just a couple of staff and some very able volunteers.

If you would like to join in with our walk, you would be most welcome! Follow the link below for some further details and to register, and then drop me a line.

This year we are planning to grow the charity even further, and we are asking you to help us to achieve that by supporting this fundraiser. A gift of £50 would pay for one person to attend a Talitha workshop. To find out more about our walk and about our charity please visit us at https://www.talitha.org.uk/freedom.

Thank you for your support.
