We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Ben Burton was an Enigma in the West Midlands Construction scene. Always at the front of the queue to be networking, raising money, for charity, taking part in events, sports, challenges and pretty much at the centre of everything.

Over the past year or so, people have raised money for the Brain Tumour Charity in his name, which is why I have chosen his charity...to do my bit for the efforts to raise money to help others with treatment and support.

The Arctic Challenge expedition taking place in March 2025 enables 8 of us to travel across the frozen wastes of northern Sweden within the artic circle in charge of a pack of husky's. With no electricity, running water, and with temperatures of minus 30...we will travel over 150 miles over the course of the week, on routes with increasing difficulty to put ourselves out there to raise money for vital research and support.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.

We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
