#TeamMND - London Marathon 2025

Fundraising for Motor Neurone Disease Association
In April 2023, my dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Just four months later, in August, we lost him. He was a fit, active man, and seeing how quickly this cruel disease took everything from him was devastating.
When I secured my place for the London Marathon last year, he was still here. By the time I crossed the start line, he wasn’t. That race became more than just 26.2 miles—it was for him.
Now, I’ve secured a late entry for the 2025 London Marathon, which means I need to train hard and fast to be ready. I’m running again in his memory and to raise vital funds for the MND Association, a charity that supports families affected by MND and funds crucial research to find a cure. In October, I’ll also take on the Chicago Marathon to keep the fight going.
MND is relentless. It takes away movement, speech, and eventually the ability to breathe—all while the mind remains fully aware. Right now, there is no cure, but with more funding, we can change that.
If you can, please support my run and help keep the fight going.
Thank you.
