Story

I'm running the 2025 London Marathon and raising money for The Hospice of the Good Shepherd. A charity that has personally supported me and continues to do fantastic work across Cheshire.

As many of you know my Dad, Peter, passed away unexpectedly in November 2011, a dreadful experience at any stage in life. Trying to comprehend such a sudden life changing experience, at 16 years old, was something I understandably struggled with.

Like any teenage boy, I tried to put on a brave face, suppress my emotions, and pretend I was okay. Thankfully, the Hospice of the Good Shepherd set up weekly counselling with me. These sessions were crucial in helping me process my grief in a positive way, allowing me to navigate the whirlwind of emotions I was experiencing.

I have always wanted an opportunity to give back to The Hospice to thank them for the support they gave me and to help other children impacted by bereavement.

Any donations towards this worthy cause and support on the day would be massively appreciated.
