Simon's fundraiser for Comic Relief

Comic Relief supports incredible projects and organisations that are making a difference for people across the UK and around the world.
Any donation you can make will make a difference. It could help provide shelter for those that need it, put food on plates, fill the shelves of baby banks, offer someone to talk to, or somewhere to be safe. It will go towards organisations supporting those facing poverty and injustice here in the UK and around the world.
Red Nose Day
On Friday, 21st March, SBAS will be joining the global movement to end child poverty by participating in Red Nose Day.
In return for a donation, all students from Reception to Y13 are invited to wear an item of red clothing with their school uniform (such as red socks or a red top).
There will also be a sponsored football match for the sixth form taking place on Thursday afternoon.
"Our annual Sixth Form Charity Football Match in support of Red Nose Day is here, and it’s always one of the highlights of the year! Being a Sixth Form student is all about 'more than just great A-Levels'—it’s about giving back to the community and having fun while doing it. This event unites students, staff, and the wider community for a friendly yet competitive match, all in support of a fantastic cause. Our students love getting involved, showing their team spirit, and raising money for Red Nose Day. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper match without the inevitable penalties to settle the score—no one ever seems to make it to the final whistle without a shootout! It's an afternoon packed with excitement, laughter, and a little friendly rivalry, all for a great cause."
