Bike ride, 3 July 2025
In memory of Elias Taylor
For 30 years patients and staff have been choosing to support Haematology Cancer Care because we help the Haematology Service deliver transformational treatment and personalised care at UCLH.

Story

Elias succumbed to leukaemia at too young an age and we are asking for your ongoing generous support in raising funds in his memory. This will be our third ride to raise funds, ALL of which will be sent to the charity as we are covering all costs.

The first ride in July 2019 enabled the purchase of an apheresis machine to help leukaemia patients at UCLH right now, every day. Our second ride in July 2022 continued our journey in Elias' name and we were able to help fund hospital PhD students to transform treatment for leukaemia patients, to help them to survive and live.

And now Simon will be embarking on a 340km three day "Trilogy" ride from Vienne to Aigues-Mortes, aiming to raise further funds for this amazing cause in Elias' memory. Karen will also be participating, as a key member of the support crew.

We are humbled by your generosity and know that Elias would have been very proud and would have loved every minute.
