This year I turned 50! I had lots of fun things planned for the year, but about a week after my birthday I got diagnosed with breast cancer. Suddenly it wasn't so much fun! The world stopped for a while but then I decided that life just needs to carry on as normal and I will keep doing most of the things I wanted to do, despite not being quite 100%.

I am soooo lucky to have some really amazing friends and colleagues at Shrewsbury Food Hub, who were always there for me and always had my back. Cooking for me, taking me appointments, making me laugh and generally just looking after me. I am really happy to be a part of this amazing team of beautiful selfless people , staff and volunteers :)

I feel well enough to do this long fun walk, over 2 days, which will include some pubs!!! So please come and join me if you can, it is really a 50k pub crawl :)
