Story
On Friday 22nd September, all 4 global Signify Tech offices will be taking part in a Landmark 10k, covering over 6 miles.
We are doing this in support of our CEO, Ryan Adams, who was recently treated for a brain tumour.
Ryan recently woke up to a sudden loss of vision in one of his eyes, accompanied by severe illness. Recognising the severity of the situation, he was urgently taken to the hospital where scans revealed the presence of a brain tumour. The following morning, he underwent surgery to remove the tumour, and was relieved to find out it was benign. However, due to a damaged nerve, the loss of vision in one eye is permanent for Ryan. Accepting this reality has been a challenge, but Ryan continues to stay positive and adapt to his new lifestyle.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. They are really set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support, and driving urgent change. Treatments haven’t changed in 40 years and research into brain tumours is still woefully underfunded.
Please donate what you can to show your support for the team. Every contribution counts💛.
