UPDATE: Thank you all for your very generous donations! We did it!!!

Some will not be surprised by this, but for Christmas last year Paul registered the 4 of us to do a 10k run for Claire House. There were a few colourful words exchanged when we opened our "presents", Gary was completely un-phased!

Jenny is already a supporter of Claire House through regular monthly donations, so was hoping to sit this one out but apparently this didn't qualify as pass not to do the run.

We've (not Gary) lost count how many times we've said "diet/training starts Monday" so now is the time we need to face reality and accept that this is really happening.

This is where we need your help! We are asking for any donations big or small for this amazing charity. The work they do is invaluable and in the darkest of times they provide the light to help guide families through difficult times.

Any donation will help give us the incentive we desperately need to not only survive the training but survive this run!

(It needs to be said that Paul could of opted for us to do a leisurely 5k run but didn't - again this won't be a surprise to those that know him)

Claire House Children's Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life. By providing specialist nursing care and emotional support we help families smile again when life couldn't get any tougher.
