About Us: Akhis In Arms @AkhisInArms - For the last 3 years, every Ramadan me and my friends have organised fundraisers within our group for different charities and campaigns. This year we have decided to take the initiative and create a charitable movement, Akhis In Arms, in which we will fundraise for our local community and for our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world who are in need of aid. This Ramadan, we decided to create an open fundraiser, the first in the name of Akhis In Arms, for those in need in Palestine and help provide them with medical aid.

For the last 75 years, Palestine has been occupied by Isra*el. In October 2023, the world took an oppurtunity to aggravate the genocide and ethnic cleansing that has already been taking place since the Nakba. Watching a second Nakba happen and seeing innocent civilians being killed is something that we need to take a stand to! Every little thing we can do will help make a difference and will allow us to be on the right side of history In’Sha’Allah.

This Ramadan, we aim to help our Palestinian brothers and sisters in need by gathering donations from our friends, families and anyone who is blessed enough to donate. All the funds raised through this campaign will be given in aid to those helpless in Palestine, with the aim to ensure that there is sufficient food, water and necessary supplies. The proceeds we generate will be forwarded to the MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians), a non profit charity organisation, who are actively on the front line helping all those in need with the assistance of our donations.

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: “You will not believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself.” He also said: “The believers are like one body in their mutual love and affection: if one limb is injured, the rest responds with sleeplessness and fever.”

We intend to stop taking donations before the end of the month of Ramadan, therefore final donations will be taken before the deadline on 08/04/24.
