On May 11th, I’ll be taking on my first ever running race - the Bristol 10K - to raise money for Stargardt’s Connected.

I was diagnosed with Stargardt’s Disease at the age of 20. It’s a rare genetic condition that affects around 1 in 10,000 people, causing progressive vision loss. Currently, there is no cure for Stargardt’s, and research is ongoing to find treatments that could help those living with the condition.

Stargardt’s Connected provides vital support for individuals and families affected by this disease, raising awareness and funding research. By donating, you’ll be helping to make a difference for those navigating life with Stargardt’s.
