I am travelling to Zambia with school this summer; I will be volunteering in schools and helping to teach Maths and English. Zambia has been grappling with low literacy levels in primary schools. In collaboration with the Ministry of General Education in Zambia and Jolly Futures, beyond ourselves are training teachers in Zambia’s Copperbelt Province to use contextualised Jolly Phonics Teaching aids, enabling many children to become confident English speakers and giving them access to more educational opportunities . With your generous donations, beyond ourselves can continue this work, helping thousands of children across Zambia.
