Story

Dear Friends,

I am walking a Half Marathon around London as part of Michelle’s team in the London Winter Walk Challenge on Saturday 27th January 2024 to raise money in support of Team Joshua for Brain Tumour Research.

Josh was the youngest son of my very dear friends Marc and Michelle. He was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2017, when he was just 15 years old. He fought bravely all throughout Covid but tragically lost the battle in early 2021. Josh was a cheeky, caring, sporty positive young man, who I was privileged to have known all his life and I will miss.

Team Joshua has been set up as a Brain Tumour Research Fundraising Group by Josh's family to help raise awareness and more importantly help to improve outcomes for brain tumour patients and ultimately find a cure.

Any donation, however small, is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much

Shoba

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
