Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the WHW Independant Company! You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months........

As you'll probably know by now at last years WHWF we (Me, Paul Hicks and Jack Bowsher) displayed a 1/100 scale rendition of the entire Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry, much to everyones enjoyment. So much so that during a beer fueled conversation Myself and Al agreed that it surely wouldn't be that much harder to do it, well, BIGGER.

At the time this seemed like an AMAZING plan. It was only after the Flying Dustbin had passed through out systems and the acrid stench of cordite from the 25 pounders was scrubbed from our nostrils that it dawned on us how bloody stupid we were and exactly how hard this was going to be.

But, we were not defeated and the rallying call went out to which many have answered and our Merry Band of Modellers, our Brother (Sisters) in Arms lets say have stepped up to help us.

To aid in our endeavors we have an added incentive, we are going to raise money for a Charity very close to the OCs heart. Finley's Touch....

Finley developed JMML at 6 years old, he battled his illness heroically, undergoing 3 stem cell transplants in under a year. Despite amazing care, he could not be cured and passed away on the 6th December 2021 aged 8.

Finley touched everyone he met. He continues to inspire us and we have set up this charity in his name to support others going through similar situations.
