Teams from Specsavers Shipley & Bingley will take on the 'Ice Breaker Challenge' in aid of Crisis. Staff members from each store will take a dip in the ice bath outside the shop with some staff completing the challenge on BOTH days! (Shipley on Friday 20th December and Bingley on Saturday 21st December) They have to stay in the iced water for at least 2minutes and all money raised will be going directly to Crisis who support people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and will be feeling icy temperatures over this winter period.

£10 could go towards someone’s travel costs, making attending a flat viewing or job interview possible, and helping them to start their journey out of homelessness.

£32 could help someone access expert support from a clinical psychologist, helping them to improve their mental wellbeing and rebuild their life.

£100 could buy a household starter kit, filled with essentials someone might not be able to afford, to help them settle into their new home.

Around the Christmas time your generosity could mean that a person has a safe place to stay, with hot food and drink and a gift over the festive period.
