Story
We’re setting out on a cycling journey from London to Paris to raise funds for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation—a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts. When our son Louie was born, he was diagnosed with liver problems. Those early days were filled with uncertainty, fear, and an overwhelming sense of helplessness. Seeing Louie struggle was a life-changing experience that made us realise just how precious time is, and how important it is to cherish every moment.
During those dark days in the hospital, knowing that the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation was there brought us a sense of hope. The thought that this charity existed to support families like ours made us feel less alone and gave us the strength to keep going. Now, we want to give back to others who are facing similar challenges. We know how isolating and challenging it can be to cope with a diagnosis like this, and we want to raise awareness and provide hope for children suffering from liver disease and their families.
At Zinc, we’re coming together with a shared purpose—to cycle from London to Paris with the goal of raising £20,000. These funds will go towards vital research, essential support services, and initiatives to raise awareness about children’s liver disease. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to make a real difference in the lives of these children and their families.
Every mile we pedal is for Louie, and for every child who deserves the chance to live a healthy, happy life. Your support, no matter how big or small, means the world to us and to the families who will benefit from these funds.
Thank you for your support
